When an early autumn walks the land and chills the breeze.

Ella Fitzgerald
Songwriters: Woody Herman, Jonny Mercer, Ralph Burns

Feelin’ the chill of autumn,
waltzin’ in on the dance floor,
temperatures gliding to and fro.
As summer sweat turns
to fall goosebumps.

Fallin’ into fall,
steppin’ outside,
grabbin’ a sweater,
headin’ out the door.

Then it hits.
The cool, crisp air.
Held hostage through long summer days.
Inhale. Exhale.
Freed as summer fades.

Fallin’ into autumn ushers in fresh air,
to reset the lazy days of summer,
preparing us for what’s to come.
Energy starts seepin’ in.

From tips of toes to hairs on heads,
every cell awakens,
as nature shifts its focus,
to a new season hummin’
of hope and grace.

There it is,
floatin’ through the air—
that gentle hope and grace,
ready to embrace.

And slowly, the fall air lights up the sky,
feelin’ squeaky clean.
The sun shines brighter,
and its warmth unfolds,
like a mother’s lovin’ hug.

This fall,

May each gentle chill lead you into an autumn dance—
a swirl and twirl of crisp air that invigorates and refreshes your soul.
