Fallin’ Into Autumn, Paintin’ a Pumpkin

Painting Pumpkins in the Fall
Echoes of laughter through it all.

Painting Pumpkins by Jacob Hatch
Three playful, hand-painted pumpkins with cartoonish faces, featuring a happy pumpkin, a curious pumpkin with big eyes, and a surprised pumpkin. Set against a rustic backdrop with autumn leaves and flowers.

Pumpkins callin’ out,
crafty hands get ready.

Plastic knives.
Paintbrushes.
Black, white, & silver paint.

Get the newspaper out.
Cover the table.
Get a plastic holder.
Don’t forget the wet wipes.

Today is going to be grand.
We’re gonna paint pumpkins.

Happy faces.
Sad faces.
Scary faces, too.

Eyes.
Mouths.
And maybe ears.
Or,
flowers, hearts, and stars.

Some pumpkins sparkle.
Some pumpkins shine.
Some pumpkins smile or frown.
Some seem to do both.

No two are ever the same.

No matter what design is done,
laughter echoes through the walls.

At the end of the day,
it’s time well spent,
making memories
with those you love.

This fall,

May you find joy in the process of creating.
May laughter fill your walls and your heart.
May every brush stroke remind you that craft time
is bonding time.
