Summer Laughter

Sounds of laughter, shades of life
Are ringing through my opened ears

Across the Universe by The Beatles

Summer laughter.
Deep from the belly.
Bubbles up before you even know why.
Out it comes.

Summer laughter.
Happens unexpectedly-
on picnic blankets, on bike rides,
or long walks on the boardwalk.

Summer laughter.
It catches you off guard.
A silly moment.
A memory.
A funny look.

Summer laughter.
Cute giggles.
Loud laughs.
And everythin’ in between.

Laughter.
Resonates.
Culminates.
Echos through the air.

Summer laughter reminds us:
To live in the moment.
To let it interrupt us.
To welcome the unexpected.
To find humor in ordinary moments that become extraordinary.

Fun creates laughter. Having fun is essential.
It is vital for health and happiness.
