The Season of Tuning: Tuning Into Attunement (2)

A Series of Reflections for the Soul

What is asking to be heard within me
before I can truly listen to others?

Attunement begins in stillness.

Not in the noise of fixing or striving, but in the quiet noticing of what lives within. Before we can attune to others, we must hear the subtle shifts in our own soul— the places that feel tender,
the rhythms that feel off,
the truths that rise like the sun.

There is a sacred timing to attunement.
Like the seasons that ebb and flow.

Open yourself to the season.

-The colors
-The fragrance
-The sounds

Let yourself be tuned gently—not to perfection, but to presence.
To what steadies. To what is true.

The Tuning continues—not to perfection, but to attunement.

May you listen with kindness to your own soul.
May you become attuned to the rhythm that restores you.

The Season of Tuning: The Tuning Begins (1)

What inner stirrings are beginning to surface as the season shifts?

As September emerges, the air carries a quiet invitation
—not loud, not urgent, but insistent.
Something is turning.
Not just in the trees or the calendar, but in the soul.

What might it be?

This is the season when we begin to sense what’s ready to fall away and what longs to be gathered.
Perhaps what’s falling is the need to explain ourselves.
The striving.
The stories we’ve outgrown.

Perhaps what’s gathering is a deeper trust.
A gentler rhythm.
A readiness to receive what’s next.

Or maybe it’s subtler still:

-The falling of old defenses
-The gathering of courage
-The falling of urgency
-The gathering of presence

This is not a season of answers,
but of attunement.

The Tuning begins—not to perfection, but to resonance.

May you honor the stirrings that ask nothing but attention-
As you listen to what the season is telling you.

The Spirit of Aquamarine

The Spirit of Aquamarine

A mighty sword exudes the strength of steel,
Slices, dices, and then heals the soul.
Armor deflects impending missiles,
Protects the heart from vicious daggers.

A babbling brook meanders its course,
Rocks and pebbles dissolve ongoing tensions.
Unveiling a clarity, pure, and transforming,
Hurts and resentments evaporate with the morning dew.

Dirt and grime wash away,
Emotional wounds from yesteryear.
Tranquility of the dancing bubbles,
Streams to new levels of consciousness.

The gentle murmur of a soothing hymn,
Echo a cascade of emotions like a waterfall.
Renewed tingling senses,
Daring to navigate a new direction.

The Spirit of Aquamarine,
Inhales and exhales a cleansing breath.
Frosty blues with a whisper of white,
The stone radiates a glimmer of sheer delight.

The gaze of another’s perspective.
Rejuvenate a harmonious synergy,
Humming, cooing, and wooing,
A symbiotic relationship rekindles.

I and Thou: Ode to the Llama

Ode to the Llama

Listening quietly to the stillness of the night,
his slender, long legs nestle underneath his body.

Searching for the soft wool of his llama friend,
his long neck extends outward, nuzzling to find a place to lay his head.

Content and feeling safe in his herd,
sleeping soundly and waking refreshed.

The sunshine kisses him with a warm glow,
he is ready to start the day.

His charisma charms the ladies,
they find him loveable and easy to talk to.

Peace runs through his veins,
seeking harmony with all those around him.

Anxiety and stress cause him to hiss, spit, and kick,
as does intimidation and feeling threatened.

He settles down with a gentle word,
empathy oozes out of his heart.

Humans can be pretty similar to llamas,
yearning too for a kind and caring world.
