I and Thou: Spirit of the Dream

Spirit of the Dream

“Hush, my child,”
The Spirit gently whispers,
“Close your eyes tight and imagine a fairy dancing in the dark.”

The Spirit exhales a welcoming breeze,
A smile cracks from supple lips,
“Sleep well, dream. Fly and soar!”

The fairy spreads its wings and flies to every corner of the mind,
From past to future and back again,
Reality to fantasy, a veil separates the two.

Through the fears and the hopes,
The memories and the visions,
Celestial music softly invites.

“Dream, fly and soar. Bring joy to souls.
Creativity and wisdom depend on your magic wand.
Open your eyes and bring wonder to those who seek.”

The fairy waves their wand, sprinkles fairy dust all around.
The Spirit bellows, “Show the world hope and grace,
For all of us to explore.”

O Spirit of the Dream, fill us with your heavenly peace.

I and Thou: Spirit of the Sun

Spirit of the Sun

Spirit called,

From the heavens, like a giant waking from slumber.

“Wake up, Sun. Arise and shine!”

The Sun stretched its rays to every granule of sand.

From east to west,

And north to south, a compass leading its path.

Through the clouds and the fog,

The smog and the early morning mist.

Angelic voices boldly commanded,

Sun, rise and shine and bring warmth to the land.

Vegetation and humans depend on your care,

Open your arms and bring comfort to those in need.

Shine your light on a path for us to see,

O Spirit of the Sun, soak us with your mystery.

I and Thou: Spirit of the Wind

Spirit of the Wind

Wind inhales north to south,
East to west and back again.

Wind exhales seeds near and far,
Up and down the hills and dales.

Mountains, valleys, and plush green pastures,
Wind scatters treasures everywhere.

An angel whispers, “In your sorrow,
Sway with the trees and stay awhile.”

“There you will find comfort, love, and solitude,
To reflect, replenish, and refresh.”

Spirit of the Wind knows no end,
Gentle yet fierce, walking by your side.

Spirit of the Dance

Spirit waved a magic wand,
Angelic voices faintly whispered.

In the breeze flowers swayed,
Intense glances warmly welcomed.

Hummingbirds sipped on nectar,
Insects fully fed on pollen.

Attracted to one another,
Perfectly paired in symbiotic dance.

I and Thou: Ode to the Llama

Ode to the Llama

Listening quietly to the stillness of the night,
his slender, long legs nestle underneath his body.

Searching for the soft wool of his llama friend,
his long neck extends outward, nuzzling to find a place to lay his head.

Content and feeling safe in his herd,
sleeping soundly and waking refreshed.

The sunshine kisses him with a warm glow,
he is ready to start the day.

His charisma charms the ladies,
they find him loveable and easy to talk to.

Peace runs through his veins,
seeking harmony with all those around him.

Anxiety and stress cause him to hiss, spit, and kick,
as does intimidation and feeling threatened.

He settles down with a gentle word,
empathy oozes out of his heart.

Humans can be pretty similar to llamas,
yearning too for a kind and caring world.

I and Thou – Spirit of the Snow

Spirit of the Snow

Spirit of the snow,
Immorality oozing out our pores.

Ice crystals suspending in the atmosphere,
Clouds bursting with moisture.

Precipitation forming in favorable conditions,
White cotton balls accumulating on surfaces.

Snow falling from the twilight sky,
Dusting the ground all around.

Spirit of the snow,
Cleansing our souls to renew.

I and Thou: You Are Worthy!

You Are Worthy!

You are worthy of unconditional love.
You are worthy of self-identity.
You are worthy of self-esteem.
You are worthy of self-confidence.
You are worthy of clarity.
You are worthy of independence.
You are worthy of connection.
You are worthy of friendships.
You are worthy of parental love.
You are worthy of motherly love.
You are worthy of fatherly love.
You are worthy of spiritual love.
You are worthy of protection.
You are worthy to live in peace and not fear.
You are worthy of loving communication.
You are worthy of kind words.
You are worthy of unconditional love.
You are worthy of love from a child…

And so am I.

I and Thou: Lavender & Time

Hustling, bustling, weary with achy soles,
Massage and soothe our inner souls.

Sprinkle us with lavender and thyme,
As we enter into this sacred time.

Instead of focusing on wrapping presents,
Prepare us to enter a holy presence.

Frail, empty, lost, and weak,
Guide us through another week.

Fill the hallowed, dark hole,
Repair the damage to make us whole.

Restore our hearts piece by piece,
And grant us never-ending peace.
